Just thought I?d share that we sadly lost our dog Harry on the 19/09/2018. We got him from Simon in December 2003. His birthday was the 10th of October so he would of been fifteen in three weeks. Until just a few weeks ago he was fit as a fiddle still bolting around the garden etc!He was a loving amazing companion always at my side and what a character he will never be forgotten to all who knew him and met him R.I.P Harry.

Collected our little Nora Batty last Saturday, she is utterly amazing. Our JRT adores her, we have her house trained already and she has learnt Sit , such a quick learner. Beautiful dogs and I am sure we will one day end up another! Thank you Pam and Simon :)

My little boy just turned two and he's the bestest dog in the world EVER. Fact. Thanks, Pam, for all your support over the years and for our gorgeous, friendly, round-hound-heffalump. He loves cuddles on the couch, but he will also run for hours with us through the moor, climb tors and hoover up rabbit poo... He loves everybody and everybody loves him - not an agressive fibre in his whole body. Oh, and his paws smell of biscuits - as I said, simply the best :)

I sadly lost my last Basset 4 years ago, I have had 5 in total. Love their sweet nature and cheeky character. I was finally in a position to have another dog so naturally started to look at Bassets when I came across Manorroy Springbatts. I had had numerous health issues with my girls so thought a Springbatt would be a better healthier option.. I loved the look and the sound of their temperant. I am now the very proud owner of my own Springbatt Rodney.. He has the looks of a Basset ( but not as heavy set) and he is Black and White :-) He is such a happy chap, very quick to learn, more energy, great character, kind natured and incredibly loving. Loves his walks, great with people and other dogs and loves a cuddle. We are delighted with him and are very grateful for all of Pams on going support and advice..

We decided to get a family dog as our daughter was petrified of dogs and the best solution seemed to be to get a puppy. Our search led us to this site where we found our lovely Sophie in 2010. She is a great dog, gentle and loving with the children and lots of fun. We were so pleased with her we have just got a companion for her Lulu. They are such a brilliant breed of dog especially for people who have never owned a dog before! Pam and Simon obviously love their dogs and have been supportive afterwards via the Facebook site.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore our new addition (Luna). She's now 6 month's old and has fit in a treat. Her Big brother Anvil loves having another Springbatt to play with and I can't imagine our life without either of them in it. Thank's so much for our fantastic dog's :)

Sorry to barge in but I have just been looking at your lovely website and your beautiful and very well loved dogs!! I cannot for one second fathom why anyone would come on and post such a ridiculous comment as our friend Kim!! At the end of the day, in my humble opinion a well bred, well cared for puppy is worth so much more than money!! What is 800 when you consider you are getting at least 12 years of love, loyalty and affection??!! People spend tens of thousands on weddings and get a lot less in return!! I am delighted to see such a beautiful cross and as an avid springer enthusiast have always admired the bassets but couldn't get past all the terrible health implications that came with them. Now I see there is a gorgeous solution in these springbatts :o) At the end of the day KIM if you knew anything you would know that all breeds came from crossing different types in the first place, otherwise we would have a load of wolves and foxy things running around!! Clearly the new owners of these delightful pets are more than happy so give yourself a slap, go outside and have a word with yourself cos you are obviously the only idiot here!!

I am outraged to read Kim's message and very upset by it. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and if you were a dog/animal lover you would not have said the things that you did. Please don't post inappropriate tittle tattle. You are very much out numbered here and we are not, as you so eloquently put it, idiots! Our dogs are amazing, affectionate animals with huge character - minus the health problems! I would have paid double for our springbatt without hesitation.....she is the most loving, friendly, comical dog you could ever wish for and I pity you that you will never know that sort of companionship.
